AFA Tribute
The Night
Following the success of the Led Zeppelin tribute, Arctic Clam decided that a surprise tribute set would become an annual Acoustics for Autism tradition.
Only one band seemed worthy of following Zeppelin: The Who.
Recreating the explosive energy of Keith Moon proved to be a challenge, but the band rose to the occasion, delivering one iconic song after another. One of the most memorable moments came during “Baba O’Riley” as the crowd sang along to every word. Violinist Aaron Rutter joined the band for the song’s finale and earned a roaring ovation.
Of course, no tribute to The Who would be complete without the legendary scream and drum showcase at the end of “Won’t Get Fooled Again”—and Arctic Clam absolutely nailed it.
